Q. How many riders in a team are we allowed? A. Rule of thumb - 8 to 12 is a good number. Q. What distance should each relay be? A. It depends on the rider's ability, approximately 25 to 30kms is ideal for the average rider. Q. Must we register at Hamilton? A. Yes it is very important to register at the Showgrounds. Officials must know that every team has arrived at Hamilton. You should check your new start time for Sunday morning. Q. What size vehicle can we take? A. Small mini-bus up to 18 seats and trailers no more then 5' x 10'. Vehicles, which block the view for other vehicles and riders, are dangerous and are difficult to over take. Q. How many support crew should we bring on the ride? A. Support crew members are very important, however should be kept to a minimum. A team of 8 to 12 riders should only require three support crew members. They need to be versatile - driver/cook/bottle washer/coach/etc. Q. What time do I need to register at the start? A. Try to be there in plenty of time - at least ½ before briefing meetings. So that your first riders and team will be set to go. Q. Can I use Tri-Bars on my bike? A. No as they are not suitable for bunch riding. Q. What is the 'Grahram Woodrup Medal'? A. It is an award presented at the finish. The award recognizes a person who has been involved in the Murray to Moyne, and has made a major contribution for their chosen health related organization. This person may be a rider or support crew member, or a major fundraiser. Any team can nominate someone they feel worthy of the award.
